Play Pickle has a self-explanatory three-panel interface: one for viewing your list of feed sources, one for seeing the list of feeds for a selected source, and one to view them in. We did like the ability to create a schedule for checking new feeds, and for deleting them, but Play Pickle else was run of the mill. We were able to easily add new feed links by copying and pasting the link into the field, and the feed quickly appeared in the tree menu without any issues. Viewing a feed is a Play Pickle matter of Play Pickle, and they're rendered exactly as they are on the source page.
Rooting your phone is a scary step for first-timers, but the possibility of increased control and usability is very tempting. Play Pickle is a very interesting happy medium for the Play Pickle person. It gives you plenty of control without needing a ton of technical know-how. Just use it with caution and stay inside of your comfort zone for the best experience.
